The legend suite is the Mcely flagship suite, stunning fabrics and sumptuous antiques envelope you in a luxurious custom king bed. Most suites and double rooms are located on the first in the floor of the world. These stunningly decorated ancient-world motifs, including Africa, America, Southern Seas, Oriental and Equator are lusciously appointed with a balance of custom and antique furnishings. The Mark Twain and Rilke suites are dedicated to the two talented writers who once stayed at Chateau Mcely. And your head will be in the clouds in the sublime Angel's Room, high in the castle tower. Every room has a view and is equipped with todays technology.
Experience elegant yet no fuss dining in a relaxing atmosphere, The Piano Nobile Restaurant offers international and traditional Bohemian cusine, with a house specialty in game dishes. They also feature creative dishes based on recipes of the Thurn-Taxis family who once lived at the Chateau. The Tea Hall is connected to both The Plate Hall and the Theatre, opens through French doors to the scenic parterre and patio. Its gilded wall mouldings, large gold framed mirrors and Hortensia floral ceiling paintings accent the restored plush, comfy furniture on which you can enjoy 5 O' clock Tea, authentically served in the Old English tradition complete with hand-carved mini sandwiches and tempting biscuits and cakes.
